This first section is a collection of pictures of recovery vehicles, that are just a little (or sometimes a lot) past their 'retirement date'. They have been taken by Commercial Vehicle Enthusiasts, from around the world. If you have any pictures that you think should be here, if you can add history, or data on any of these vehicles - please email it to the webmaster. All these pictures are copyright of their respective owners. Most will let you copy them, BUT you must ask them first.

Warning: The above galleries contain a collection of accident pictures, mainly taken by the webmaster during his time at Cambridge Coachworks and National Rescue. We would like to say that no one was seriously injured in these incidents, but regrettable that is what usually happened with the sort of RTA's we were called to.

You may also detect a trace of humour in some of the descriptions. the reason is simple - You had to laugh or you never could have done it. If the humour or the images cause offence, I apologise in advance.
