| The last and most important piece of equipment is the
recovery operator. Today they are highly trained and usually well turned
out. They wear protective clothing and are truly professional.
HOWEVER, never forget that the knowledge had to be learned and often with equipment not designed to do that job or even, not invented yet! This MVA (multiple vehicle accident) on a few week old M25, shows Alan, Jim, Brian and Bill arriving and assessing the scene. They would quickly do what ever was needed to clear the carriageway as quick as possible, whilst protecting the victims from any further harm. |
